David Belk grew up in Richardson, Texas, a suburb in north Dallas. When he was twelve, he gave his life to Jesus following youth camp and surrendered his life to God’s call to ministry when he was fifteen. After graduating from Texas Tech University, he married his wife Meredith and they moved to Ft Worth where David attended seminary. He graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with two degrees, a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages in 1995 and a Doctorate of Ministry degree in 2001. He has been a pastor for more than 24 years, having served churches in Texas and Georgia.

David’s other ministry is serving as Assistant Director of New Hope Initiative, a Christian humanitarian non-profit impacting thousands of lives in five different countries of the world. David and his wife Meredith are the proud parents of three amazing kids, Micah, Caleb and Meagan and a golden retriever named Dak. In his free time, you’ll find David with his family at the soccer field, at the beach surfing or riding bikes.
